Levison, Robert David, D.M.D.

50, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away and went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ, on October 24, 2009. Robert grew up in Phoenix, attending Ingleside Elementary School, and Arcadia High School where he played on the football team and was awarded homecoming king. After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder, he received his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He practiced dentistry for many years in Phoenix. His generous heart was apparent at an early age when he donated all his earnings from his paper route to the Jerry Lewis Telethon fundraiser. His giving to others was ever present in his life, and he was always willing to help others. Robert loved plants and was a master gardener. He is survived by his parents, Dr. Charles and Helen Levison; sister, Cindy Paul (Chuck); brothers, William Levison (Asli) and Dr. Jeffrey Levison; four nieces and one nephew; and Linda Owens, the love of his life. Memorial Service will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3641 N. 56th Street, Phoenix, AZ, on Friday, October 30, at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow. KEHOE, THOMAS MICHAEL, III

60, beloved husband, father, brother and friend, went to heaven to be with God on October 27th. Thomas Kehoe was born on November 27, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois. He served two tours for his country during the Vietnam War (1967-1969). His first tour was with the A Company 35th Infantry Army Regiment, and his second tour was with the C Troop 1/9 Cavalry. Tom was a recipient of the Purple Heart, 2 Bronze Stars, National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal Air Crewman Badge, Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was employed by the City of Phoenix Fire Department. He also worked for the City of Scottsdale as a fire mechanic. Tom was involved in The Knights of Columbus. Tom is survived by his wife, Teresa Kehoe, daughters Cheryl Ray and Christina Kehoe, grand children, Allison and Christopher Ray, as well as his sister, Joan Wencel and brother, Jerry Kehoe, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm, Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am, Monday, November 2, 2009 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 7655 E. Main Street, Scottsdale followed by Interment at 1:30 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix. Beloved mother to Ernie Martinez, Rufino Dominguez, Richard Dominguez (Dolores), and Bennie Benito. Loving sister to Concepcion Acedo, Priscella Bruni, Yolanda Navarro, Belia Medina; Julia Martinez, Benny & Gilbert Robles. Beloved Nana to 14 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. Loving aunt to many nieces, nephews and good friend to many. She will always be missed. Gabriel Joseph O’Connell,

84, of Phoenix, AZ left us on October 20, 2009. Formerly of Lost Nation, Iowa, Gabe is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marilyn, children Mona (Mike) Smith, Kelly and Danny; 6 grandchildren: Morgan, Adrienne and Kimberly Smith, Joseph O’Connell and Grace and Sloane O’Connell, and one brother, Richard T. O’Connell of South Carolina. Gabe served with pride in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during W.W.II and received an honorary discharge in June 1946. He attended St. Ambrose College in Davenport, IA and graduated from University of Iowa with a degree in Business. A hard worker his entire life, he was actually given 4 retirement parties, only to show up for work again the following Monday. He officially retired just 2 weeks before he passed away. Being Iowa friendly, his friends and family will miss his knack for storytelling. A Memorial Mass will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, October 24, 2009 at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 3424 N. 18th Ave., Phoenix with a reception immediately following at the Smith Home. Vickie is survived by her daughter Mary Benavidez, son Ernesto Benavidez, Jr., grandchildren Hatcher, Candice, Tykeishia, and Dalayzjia Day, Charles Briggs, Nathan Benavidez, and husband Ernest Benavidez, Sr. She is also survived by her twin brother Ricky Ruiz, brothers Gilbert Ruiz, Ysidro Aragon, Jr., and Orlando Aragon, sisters Catherine Hernandez, Mercy Amaro, Virginia “Sheila” Olguin, Barbara Aragon, Cecelia Cervantes, and her stepfather Ysidro Aragon, Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Frances Aragon and Jose Maria Ruiz, and her brothers Christopher Aragon and Joseph Ruiz.
