55, returned to the loving arms of the Lord and to her mother waiting at the gates of Heaven on Saturday, October 17, 2009. Vickie is survived by her daughter Mary Benavidez, son Ernesto Benavidez, Jr., grandchildren Hatcher, Candice, Tykeishia, and Dalayzjia Day, Charles Briggs, Nathan Benavidez, and husband Ernest Benavidez, Sr. She is also survived by her twin brother Ricky Ruiz, brothers Gilbert Ruiz, Ysidro Aragon, Jr., and Orlando Aragon, sisters Catherine Hernandez, Mercy Amaro, Virginia “Sheila” Olguin, Barbara Aragon, Cecelia Cervantes, and her stepfather Ysidro Aragon, Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Frances Aragon and Jose Maria Ruiz, and her brothers Christopher Aragon and Joseph Ruiz. Vickie will be missed by her entire family and all of her friends. Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm, Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, October 23, 2009 at St. Agnes Church located at 1954 N. 24th St.
