Born September 4, 1916 in Visalia, California went to be with Our Lord Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona. Marge was the beloved daughter of Tad and Leah Wells and is survived by many loving family and friends. A Visitation will be held Friday, August 27, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 10:00 am at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix.

    I was privileged to bring the Eucharist to Marge on a frequent basis for more than the last year. When I’d call to see if I could come over with Our Lord, she always said, “Wonderful!” She was truly reverent even through her health troubles. She looked forward to the Eucharistic visits that have become a prelude to her eternal presence with the Lord.
    Marge was friends with my late Mom, and no doubt they have much to talk about again. They used to go out for yogurt together. Marge was a friend to the neighborhood and would bring people their newspapers that were thrown from the street. My day definitely seems different without Marge being down the street from me now.
