Dorothy I. Mitchell joined her late husband, Carl, on Thursday, October 18, 2007. She is now at peace. Dorothy was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 24, 1913. She attended Resurrection Academy in Chicago in her younger years. She and Carl married on August 5, 1937, celebrating nearly 50 years before his death in 1987.
