Douglas L. Reutter

Douglas Louis Reutter, 83, was born on February 4, 1924 in Berger, MO. When he was 19 years old, he was sent overseas to serve our country in World War II. He was wounded, spent two years recovering in a VA Hospital, and was awarded the Purple Heart. Following his service in the military, he moved to Arizona
in 1950. Douglas retired from the Bank of America Osborn Branch Office, as Vice President and Manager in 1989. Douglas rejoined his platoon on August 25, 2007. He passed away surrounded by his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, two children, and six grandchildren. He is in our thoughts and prayers. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 30th, at 9:30 A.M., with Funeral Service at 10:00 A.M., at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd. Interment will follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
