F. Robert Stevens

F. Robert Stevens, 81, retired civil engineer, past president of Yost and Gardner Engineers and avid golfer, was struck down by ALS on March 27, 2008. He is survived by his wife Jo Anne, children Chris Shelley, Bill Sherry, Kelly and six grandchildren. Bob enjoyed the outdoors, his time as Scout Master of Troop 37 BSA, and the long time friends he made in the Gerard High School Booster Club. A Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. with Rosary at 7:00P.M. Sunday, March 30th at Whitney and Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, March 31st, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Ave., Phoenix, followed by interment at St. Francis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial to the charity of your choice.
