Helen Sucato

Helen Sucato, 89, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away on December 1, 2007 in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was born November 24, 1918 in Poughkeepsie, New York to Rocco and Rose Germano. In 1949 along with her husband, Salvatore Sucato, they moved to Phoenix, Arizona where they established Sucato Masonry which they owned and operated until his death in 1986. She is preceded in death by her husband Sal. Helen is survived by one daughter Agnes and four sons, John, Edward, Raymond and Terry, all of Phoenix along with sixteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren, five brothers, three sisters, and many nieces and nephews and good friends. Helen will be dearly missed by all, but we are joyful that she is in the arms of her beloved husband Sal. She will always be remembered as a very loving and generous person.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2007, 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
