John Lewis Giannantonio

John L. Giannantonio, 83, passed away in Phoenix, Az. Sunday, March 22, 2009. John was born and raised on Staten Island, NY. He moved to Phoenix in l968 with his family. John belonged to the Plumbers Union Local 469 for 40 years. John is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lucille, and his youngest son, John Joseph. He is survived by daughters Gail, Debra Tim Bies, sons Greg DeeDee and Bobby Lisa all of Phoenix. He enjoyed and loved his six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews including Claire Wayne Slusinski and Todd Fournier of Phoenix, AZ. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 pm with Rosary at 7:00 pm at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, March 30, 2009 at 10:30 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Ave, Phoenix. Interment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas Road, Avondale.
