KUSHELL, JESSIE

Jessie, age 79, passed away May 18th. She was a 54 year resident of Scottsdale. Jessie Kushell was a Member of the Bulldog Club of Connecticut, Arizona Bulldog Club, Sahuaro State Kennel Club, and Life Member of the Superstition Kennel Club, Inc. where she served as Finance Chair and devoted Show Committee Member. Along with her late husband, Charles J. Kushell III, they finished Bulldogs as champions. She also supported the George M. Beckett Award for achievement in Bulldogs and was one of the individual founding members who helped establish the financial well-being of the Portuguese Water Dog Foundation, Inc. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. III in 2001, her daughter, Katherine Isabelle Kushell in 2002, and is survived by her sons Charles J. Kushell IV, wife Sherry, and Randall M. Kushell, wife Bev. No services are planned at her request. Donations may be made to the Portuguese Water Dog Foundation, PO Box 203, Parker Ford, PA 19457-0203, and The American Diabetes Association.
