Mary Frances Aragon

Aragon, Mary Frances, 73, returned home to the Lord and the open arms of her mother on Sunday, May 3, 2009. After many years of pain and suffering, she is finally able to rest peacefully. Mary is survived by her daughters Vickie Benavidez, Catherine Hernandez, Mercy Amaro, Virginia “Sheila” Olguin, Barbara Aragon, Cecelia Cervantes, sons Ricky Ruiz, Gilbert Ruiz, Ysidro Aragon, Jr., and Orlando Aragon, sisters Virginia Conner and Maybelle Woods, brother Eddie Joe Bivens, and best friend Mary Lou Verdugo. A proud Nana of 40 grandchildren and countless great-grandchildren, she will be missed dearly by each and every one. In addition to her parents Mercedes and Albert Bivens, she was preceded in death by her sons Christopher Michael Aragon and Joseph Ruiz, two sisters, and four brothers. Mary will be sadly missed by all whose lives she touched, including her friends from park-n-swap. Viewing will be held at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Wednesday, May 6, 2009 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm; Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm. Catholic Mass will be held Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 10:30 am at Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral located at 6351 N. 27th Ave. Procession to Graveside Service at St. Francis Cemetery will follow mass.
