Nancy Ellen Iacovacci

Nancy Ellen Bowers Iacovacci, 66, passed away in Greece on March 24th, 2008. She was born in Toledo, Ohio January 28th, 1942 and came to Arizona with her family in 1944. She attended St. Thomas the Apostle grade school and St. Mary’s High School.

Nancy loved to travel especially to Greece, where she had friends who loved her. She gave generously to women and children’s shelters in the Phoenix area. Her generosity, humor, wit, and immeasurable loving spirit will be remembered and missed by all.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father and mother, Howard and Rita Bowers, and her brothers, Nicholas and Howard Bowers. She is survived by her children, Michael II Debbie, Regina Bailey Brian and Marc Amy, grandchildren, Robert Cantrelle, Alina and Michael III Iacovacci, Zachary, Michaela and Nicholas, sisters, Mary Lou Morris Turkelson and Janet Fred LaCount and 36 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd. in Phoenix on Thursday, April 3rd, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. with Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 4th, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 24th Street and Campbell, in Phoenix, followed by interment at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 North 48th Street in Phoenix.
