Sponcil, Louis S.
83, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2009 in Phoenix, AZ. Born September 16, 1926 in Tollison, AZ, the son of Lewis S. Sponcel, Sr. and Artie E. (Stephens) Sponcel. He served in the Army in the Koren War in the 7th Signal Co. APO 7. He worked at Phoenix Auto Wrecking with his two brothers until retirement. He is survived by son Wayne Sponcil, granddaughters Rebecca and Sarah. He was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary Sponcil. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am, Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. A Graveside Service will follow at 11:30 am, at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, 401 N. Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, Az.
