47, of Phoenix, died early Monday, May 19, 2009. Steve was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on September 9, 1961 but lived most of his life in Phoenix. Steve is a graduate of NAU in Flagstaff with a degree in mechanical engineering and has spent his career with several major companies including General Dynamics, Allied Signal, Mobility, Honeywell and most recently as an engineering consultant. Steve was an avid outdoorsman and loved hiking and fishing trips to the Black River, Christopher Creek and the back woods and lakes of Arizona. His greatest pride and joy was being with his children and supporting them in all of their activities. After his battle with leukemia he had an even greater zest for life and cherished every day he had with his children and family. Steve is survived by his three children Christopher, Matthew and Allison. Also surviving are his mother, Helen Isenman Dumas of Phoenix, father and stepmother, Sam and Charles Dumas of Prescott, three brothers, Eric Kristin of Seattle, WA, Paul Judi of Flagstaff and Peter Penny of Gilbert, AZ.
