Henry G. Sr. (Sonny) Sanchez

Loving Husband, Father, and Tata, was called to God’s house on Monday, April 15, 2013. He was born on December 3, 1941 in Superior, AZ. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Army.  He bled the Green and White of St. Mary’s and the Maroon and Gold of his Sun Devils.  He was the proud father of 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.  His gregarious personality and stories will be sorely missed but he will never be forgotten in our hearts.  Rest in Peace Visitation will be held from 9:30-11am with a Rosary at 11am, Monday, April 22 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix.  Graveside Service will follow at 12:30pm, Monday, April 22, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.
