Alice Rita Prucker Worcester quietly slipped away into God’s hands on January 22, 2008 after succumbing to Alzheimer’s disease. Alice was born on April 10, 1927 in Utica, New York; she married Kenneth Worcester in August of 1950 and they became permanent residents of Arizona in 1959. As an active mother of seven, Alice spent her days keeping house, raising her kids and incredibly, she found time to be an active bowling league member for almost 50 years. Alice and Ken have been active members of St. Daniel’s Catholic Church for over 40 years. Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, neighbor and friend. She was much loved by all those who knew her, she was a kind and gracious woman who was always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends and neighbors; Alice will be greatly missed. Alice is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Kenneth; her children Barbara, Michael, Carol, Donald, Thomas, and Kathleen; 20 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and another on the way, her sister Margaret and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., on Saturday, January 26th, at 11:00 A.M. with Visitation starting at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
