Alina Meriem Anderson

Alina Meriem Anderson; January 4, 1967 – February 7, 2021.

Alina was born in Medgidia, Romania 54 years ago. She completed her primary education in Medgidia and her secondary education in Bistrita, Romania. In 1992, Alina moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where her daughter Christine was born. She would later earn a Baccalaureate Degree in Business Administration. She was an amazing, kind-hearted woman who loved her family and friendships cultivated from around the world. She was a gentle, nostalgic soul who loved the music of Elvis Presley, her morning coffee club, and enjoyed a glass of wine in the evenings. She loved to travel, experience fine dining, and enjoyed living life on her terms.

Survived by her husband Mark, mother Maria Ferseta, daughter Christine Moga (Brandon McSwain), step-son Steven Schultz, step-daughter Britani Embry (Dustin), grandchildren Adair, Grace, Blaine and Bijou, sisters-in-law Sandra Anderson (Preben), and Sheree Kulczak (Danny), nephew Justin and niece Jessica. Preceded in death by her father Givat Soiun and stepfather Vasile Ferseta.

Her family wishes to thank her health care providers, especially Dr. John Farley, at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their wonderful and kind treatment during Alina’s final days courageously battling a sudden diagnosis of ovarian cancer.
