ANDREYKA, JAMES B.
James B. Andreyka was born on January 11, 1949 and died on September 14, 2023. He was born to parents Ted and Jackie Andreyka in Barberton, Ohio and grew up in Phoenix by South Mountain. Jim was a mechanical engineer and worked in the aerospace/defense industry, spending the majority of his career in Connecticut. He was an avid car enthusiast and could literally fix anything.
Jim is survived by his wife of 30 years, Gail and also leaves behind a son Ted and his wife Jenny and a daughter Jamie Miyamoto and her husband Tomoshi. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Jen Andreyka, Teddy Andreyka, Nicholas Andreyka and Kouki Miyamoto.
Jim was predeceased by his brother Ted Andreyka and is survived by siblings Pat Snow, Pam Birnam and husband Les, Joe Andreyka and wife Janice, Faith Andreyka and husband Keith Marsh, Mark Andreyka and wife Lori, and Mat Andreyka and several beloved nieces and nephews as well as many dear friends.
A visitation is set for Saturday, September 23rd from 9-10AM with funeral service to begin at 10AM at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix. Burial to follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
