Anna Clare Pierson, the precious 4 year old daughter of Jim and Karrie Pierson, died peacefully in her home on July 25th, 2009.
Anna was born August 30, 2004 with a severe neurological disorder that compromised every aspect of her life. She captivated the heart of everyone who looked into her big blue eyes. Although she could not communicate with words, Anna gave her family a love stronger than words could convey. Anna’s journey was often difficult, but her graceful and loving spirit continually gave those around her a sense of peace and gratitude. She made all who knew her feel their own hearts. Anna and her family have been surrounded by dear friends, gentle caregivers, as well as their community at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
She is survived by her father, Jim, her mother, Karrie, her sisters Katherine and Caroline and her brother Joe. She will also be missed by her great-grandparents Bill Bell and Dorothy White, her grandparents Liza Bell and Pat Waugh, Joe and Susan Moore, Dick and Janet Hearin, Jim and Karen Pierson; her Godparents numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins, as well as the hundreds of loving caregivers who touched her life in many ways.
