So very sorry for the loss of your Dear loved one. May you put faith in the words mentioned at Isaiah 26:19 and allow it to give you hope and comfort at this difficult time.

To all Mary Lou’s beloved family. Your mother was a treasure that I feel honored and blessed to have known. Mary Lou was so proud of each of you, often sharing your accomplishments and joys. My condolences to you all. Mary Lou will forever be in my prayers. Warm regards, Johannah Williams

Cousins, Sorry for your loss but that was a wonderfully full life and I will always be a bit envious of how many years you got to enjoy your Mother’s company. I envision with her passing a grand family reunion in some spiritual realm.
Many early fond memories of staying with the cousins who lived in town. I believe several of my first visits to a swimming pool were at the Oskaloosa Country Club. And your Mother’s College of St. Teresa’s connection was instrumental in bringing my parents together. I remember from a young age figuring out what a good series of events that was for me!
As per your Mom’s request, I will get to Mass this week and particularly include her in my prayers. No disrespect intended, but we all know that more prayers for someone as giving and caring as your Mother may define the word superfluous!

I have just found out that Mary Lou passed away earlier this month. All of the Anton family is certainly in my thoughts and prayers. The Anton family and the Swaney family shared much history in Oskaloosa and Mary Lou was like a mother to so many. She was the last to go and in some ways, it is the end of an era for all of us.
Love,
Cindy (Swaney) Lane
