I read the obituary for Otila and wanted to offer some encouraging thoughts for you as you reflect on your loved ones death. Because God understands how we feel, He made sure to record information in the bible to help us. At Romans 15:4 it says: “All the things written aforetime (in the bible) were written for our instruction, that through our endurance and through the COMFORT from the scriptures, we might have hope.” How wonderful to have accurate answers as to why we grow old and die and why people suffer. God certainly is not responsible. In the future, He will correct the aging process and people will live forever right here on earth! Jesus states: “…the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out….”John 5:28, 29.
