Arthur C. Christiansen Jr., 80, died on October 28, 2007. He was born April 14, 1927 in Pennsylvania and brought his family to Arizona in 1961. Near the end of World War II Art was a Naval Cadet and received some flight training. A temporary job in a photo studio in 1942 turned into a 50-year career, the final 30 years of which was in his own photo studio, Camera Arts, in Phoenix. He was well known and respected as a photographer and took pride in great customer service. He often spoke about his wide variety of photo assignments and how it made the job so interesting. He will be missed by his friends and family who loved him. He is survived by sister Kristen, granddaughters Ariel, Kimberlee and April, sons Mark and Art, and former wife Trudi. Art was preceded in death by sister Grace and son Eric. His family would like to thank the staff of Westchester Care Center in Tempe who took such professional and loving care of Art in his final months. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to Hospice of the Valley. A future service will be private.
