82, of Phoenix, AZ passed away peacefully on May 18, 2014. Dorothy is preceded in death by her son Stephen in 1993. She is survived by her husband Frank of 62 years, sons Mike (Sandy), Andy, daughters Donna (Jim) Greenwade, Brenda (Mike) Aldrich, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00pm, Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00pm, Thursday, May 22, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice Compassus, 511 S. Mud Springs Road, Payson, AZ 85541.

Frank, my dear scouting friend and mentor. I just learned of the passing of your wife and was saddened. You have been a good example and inspiration to me over the years we served in Woodbadge together. Only one of the ways was the respect with which you spoke of your wife and the long faithful marriage. Something that is not so common any more. I expect that you will be lonely without her, If I was near, I would come by and we could tell stories of times together. However I am in Argentina and will be here until next March.
