Jeffrey William Austin, a loving father and brother passed away February 18, 2021 at the age of 61. He is survived by his children Julia, Megan and Matthew as well as his sister Jill and brother Brent.
Born January 21, 1960, Jeff was the eldest child born to Buck & Lois. He spent his formative years in Washington State before attending Arizona State University where he obtained his degree and set down permanent roots in the valley.
Jeff was an engaged father who balanced being a coach, supporter, chauffeur and provider. He enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles & mending things. He was also a talented gardener and loved watching & listening to anything sports related. He relished giving driving directions to lost family members and was fond and kind to animals. Admired for his charm and wit he was a natural leader who enjoyed helping others and was quick to make everyone feel at ease with a laugh or joke. He will be sorely missed by all.
In remembrance of Jeff’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made in his name to Tempe Community Action Agency at https://tempeaction.org/ways-to-give/donate.html. Condolences may be expressed at www.whitneymurphyfuneralhome.com

I work for Dr. Breed who was Jeff’s cardiologist since 2014. Being from Bellevue as well, we would often catch up. During his last visit in January, found out that him and his dad did the add on to the house I grew up in Bellevue on 131st Ave. Small world, he will be missed greatly! I had no idea until this very day. My love. Michelle Bryant
