Harriet Behl

With sadness, Harriet Behl went to be with the Lord on September 12, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph Behl, and her beloved dog Zorro (Schnauzer),Charles O’Malley, Loretta O’Malley, Thomas O’Malley, Charles O’Malley, James Stark, Patricia Donatos.

Harriet is survived by Jane Landseadel, Robert Landeseadel (grandson), Robert Landseadel III, William and Judith Murphy, Patty and Thom Fischer, Chris and Nancy Behl, Vicky Behl and Claire Stedman, Janet Behl and Hank Tortora, Dennis and Anne Behl, Andrew Stark and Javenu Stark.

She loved life, making new friends, animals, playing tennis, golf, and dancing. In addition, she enjoyed watching or attending sporting events. She would retreat to the mountains and the beaches with her beloved Joe and Zorro. Harriet loved to cook and entertain for her family, lifelong friends and new acquaintances. In her spare time, she donated and volunteered for fundraisers and charities. She was a sustaining member of the Junior League. We will miss her joy of life. We will miss you. We will have you in our hearts forever.

A private ceremony will be held due to COVID-19 pandemic. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Humane Society, Ronald McDonald House, and St. Mary’s Food Bank.
