96 of Phoenix, Arizona was lifted up to the Lord to be with her beloved husband Mike on October 27, 2015. She is survived by her children Michael Jr., Cindy, Celeste, Chris, and Rita, son-in-law’s, grand, great-grand, great-great-grandchildren. Rita was born November 4, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1963. She worked for Motorola and had enjoyed retirement since 1982. She was a very strong woman and never complained. Visitation will be held from 5-8 P.M., with a Rosary at 7 P.M., Tuesday, November 3, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. at St. Marks Catholic Church, 400 North 30th St., Phoenix. Interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Rd., Scottsdale.

Mom you are with dad now and in a much better place without any pain. We will be celebrating you with services this coming Wednesday, November 4th, 2015. You will be 96 that day and will have come full circle. I still think that you even planned it that way! It was a pleasure to be here and help out with you these past 4 yrs and dad not quite as long. You and dad are now on your next chapter in life. I know that you will be watching over your 5 children.
