Dionysia Boukas

Dionysia Boukas, born on September 20, 1920 in Kalonero, Greece, passed away on December 10, 2020.

A Trysagion will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1973 E Maryland Ave., in Phoenix on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 10:00 AM followed by a visitation until 11:00 AM. Services will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E Shea Blvd., in Scottsdale.

Dionysia loved her church and was actively involved. She loved her family more than anything. She radiated kindness to everyone around her. She also had a passion for gardening and had the greenest thumb around and had a special place in her heart for animals.

Dionysia is preceded in death by her husband Nicholas Boukas.

Dionysia is survived by her children Christos (Kymberly), Froso Cannon (David), grandchildren; Amanda Czarnecki (Shawn), Jennifer Kirksey, Katie Saralegui (Carlos), Nicolette Cannon, Jordan Cannon, and many great grandchildren, sister Panagiota Metropoulos (Kyriako) and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Phoenix, AZ. Condolences may be expressed at www.whitneymurphyfuneralhome.com.
