Ann M Brak

Ann M. Brak joined our Dear Lord on November 10, 2012 at Westminster Care Center under the auspices of Hospice of the Valley in Scottsdale, AZ. She was born in Chicago, IL on February 28, 1922 to Rudolph and Stephanie Brak. She attended Fenger High School. She started to work for AT&T in Chicago and progressed into the Corporate offices of AT&T, one of the first women to do so. She traveled extensively for AT&T. In the mid 1970’s she retired and moved to Phoenix, AZ to be with her sisters Mary Alice and Margaret. She enjoyed family visits at a lovely home with a pool, and travels with her sisters. In the mid 1990’s she moved to Westminster Village Retirement Center in Scottsdale, AZ. She continued to travel, enjoyed family visits and the fellowship of new friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Rudolph and Stephanie, sisters Ludmilla, Mary Alice and Helen and brothers Rudolph and Stephan. She is survived by her sister Margaret J. Brak, niece Mary Ann Macchiarella and family, John Allison and family, Barbra Rapacchietta and family, Beth Ann Smith and family, cousins Mary Agnes Noland and family, George Cmarik and family. Services are pending. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
