Words cannot describe how brave Lyn was over the last four years. I am in such awe of the faith she retained during all of it. And I will always remember the kindness she and Carlos showed me going through my own health issues. Even while she stood in the path of such a huge battle. My heart goes out to all of her family. Carlos, we
Love you.

Karen and Dennis and family. Even though we have loss touch over these many years I was so saddened when I read about you all losing Lynie at such a young age. I so remember those days when we all lived on 16th Street and Lyn was this darling little blond girl who ran with the neighborhood gang of kids. I can picture her in my mind to this day. I am thinking of you and holding her memory dear to my heart. God bless you all during this difficult time.

Carlos,
I am so grateful that God connected me again with Lyn. She was a warrior for a very long time. Through it all she always kept her humor, grace and faith. Such an inspiration!
As Lyn loved to share her favorite musical artists/songs with me during our visits, as I struggled with how to capture my thoughts I turned to music. The lyrics from “Super Market Flowers” summarize my feelings about my beloved friend:
“I know that when God took you back he said Hallelujah you’re home.”
Although we are left behind to grieve, I believe there is a party going on in heaven for their new angel. I am lifting you and your family up. You are very much in my prayers and thoughts.

I met Evelyn only when she was young but knew her parents well. Karen Hansen Cahill is a beautiful intelligent woman and her father, Dennis Cahill is a handsome multi talented man. It does not surprise me at all to read of Evelyn’s great achievements in life when she came from such an outstanding gene pool. I express my sincere condolences to all her family for their tremendous loss.
