On August 25, 2014, far too soon, we lost Jarrod Camp in a tragic work-site accident. Jarrod leaves behind his beautiful wife of four years and best friend of eight years, Cara Cunningham Camp, to whom he was a loving and devoted husband and protector. Also mourning Jarrod are his mother Linda, father Kim (Shirley), brother Ryan, and countless friends and family members who loved him. Jarrod was the founder and owner of Camp Industries, Inc. which he built from the ground up and where he and Cara worked tirelessly in the service of their clients. Jarrod had a rough exterior and a heart of gold. He was generous and fiercely loyal to his friends, for whom he would do anything. But most of all. Jarrod loved Cara and they were building their lives together, hand in hand. The sorrow is overwhelming, but Cara will go forward with the tremendous love and support of all the family and friends that have wonderfully rallied to her side in this time of need. Thanks and love to all of you. It would be wrong to fail to recognize Jarrod’s life-long friend and co-worker Jeremy Johnson, who died alongside Jarrod in their heroic and successful effort to save the life of Jeremy’s son Cody, who was exposed to the lethal fumes that took Jarrod and Jeremy’s lives. A joint Memorial Service will be held for Jarrod and Jeremy on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 11:00am at Christ Church of the Ascension, 4015 E. Lincoln Drive, Paradise Valley, AZ.

To Cara and Camp family. My deepest sympathies to all who knew Jarrod. He was a great guy and he stuck up for me when I had an accident while I was employed at Camp industries. It’s been a year since I worked for him and I still talk about my experience working for Jarrod…. Even though I knew him, Cara and Jeremy a short time they made me feel like family.. My thoughts and prayers go out all family’s going through this tough time… God bless you
