Campagna, Salvatore “Sam” J.
age 86, of Peoria, AZ, a former resident of Cleveland, Ohio for 75 years, passed away July 4, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Helen; loving father of Michael (Trish), and James; step-father of the late Donna Magdos (Joe); dearest grandfather of Anthony (Amanda), Daniel (Courtney) and Joseph Magdos (Shelly); great grandfather of Kiera Magdos; son of the late Agostino Campagna and the late Maria Battaglia; brother of the late Anthony (Mary); brother of Margaret Mileti (Joseph), Mary Bazelides (Joseph), Jennie Kopp (Donald), the late Josephine and the late Antonina (Lena) Messina (Joseph). Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, July 6th, at 2:00 P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of the Valley (hov.org) in Sam’s name. Sam will be flown back to Cleveland for burial at Calvary Cemetery.
