Kathy was a great teacher, mentor, and colleague who shared without hesitation. Our profession was better because of her. Rest in peace Mrs Campbell. You are sorely missed!

Kathy was a dear soul. Knew her from long ago at CHHS. Blessings and prayers for John and her family.

Condolence from Julie Horwin on March 27th, 2017 3:00 pm

Kathy loved humor, leading, mentoring, and it showed in all she did. She loved her Association, the NEA, AEA, and AEA-Retired. Thanks to Kathy, we have chapters of AEA-Retired throughout the state. Thanks to Kathy, we have a strong professional organization for retired AEA members. She worked and advised me up until her last days. She never lost her passion for education, organizing for power and her love of people. We will miss you dear friend. In so many ways. John, you and Kathy were the power team – so many many people send along their kindest wishes for you during this sad time. With warmest love and grief,

My sympathy to Kathy’s family. She was a pleasant Red Hat sister in the Desert Jewels Chapter in which we both belonged! May she RIP!
