Nell Mary Caniglia

Nell Mary Caniglia 95 passed away in Phoenix on March 28, 2013. Nell was born November 4, 1917 in Omaha, Nebraska to Italian immigrant parents, Frank and Mary Quattrocchi. She lived in Omaha until 1937 when she traveled to Arizona with her new husband, Dr. Sebastian Rosario Caniglia.  She spent her life devoted to her husband (deceased) and her family. She had four children, Richard S. Caniglia, deceased (Barbara), Dr. Gerald A. Caniglia (Shelley), Thomas M. Caniglia (Noel), and Margaret A. Lochhead (Jerry); grandchildren, Stacey Bernardini (Danny), Richard Caniglia, Carrie Phillips (Dale), Jerry Caniglia Jr (Cyndi), Michael Caniglia (Jaki), Stephen Caniglia (Carly), Dusty Caniglia, Casey Caniglia, Jeffrey Lochhead; great grandchildren, Luca, Nico, Stella Blu, Isabelle, Avery, Brooks, Kaitlyn, Alexis, Emily, Priscila, Leo.

Nell will be remembered with love and gratitude for devotion to her family, her wonderful sense of humor and her feisty spirit.  She was the consummate homemaker. Among her family and friends, she was known and admired for her fabulous Italian cooking, by all who were lucky enough to experience it. Nell will be honored at a private family memorial. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014.
