88, of Phoenix, passed away June 10, 2011. Shapo’s life was defined by his dedication to his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Ruth “Cuca”; his daughter, Susan; grandchildren, Eddie Saldana and Christine Brito; her husband Jerry Brito and great-grandchildren, Antonio and Mikayla Brito. Rosary: 7pm, Thursday, Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, with Visitation from 6-8pm. Funeral Mass: 10am, Friday, St. Gregory Catholic Church, 3424 N. 18th Avenue, immediately followed by procession to Holy Cross Cemetery, 91st Avenue and Thomas Road.
