I’m so disappointed that I can’t be there in person to mourn and celebrate Grandpa’s life, and I send all of my love to my family.

Grandpa was a warm, generous person, devoted to his faith and his family. I’m so grateful for his presence in my life, and I wish we’d had more time together. My heart aches from the loss, but he’s gone to be reunited with Grandma and the rest of our departed family, and his memory will always be a blessing for me.

    Rest in peace, Grandpa.

Mr. Cerino was the kindest man. I always enjoyed seeing him and catching up at Al and Jennifer’s. I first met Mr. Cerino in 1979 and felt like I’d met a friend.

My condolences to Albert, David, Joseph, Theresa, and all the family. God bless you all.

Albert has been our neighbor for over 15 years. My children have grown up going over to visit with him and hear his stories, they always came home feeling happy. Albert was quick to laugh, kind to all and had a generous heart. We will miss seeing him out working in the yard and getting to visit with him.

We are grateful he is at rest with his wife, and we can envision him there with her working on their heavenly yard together.

Our condolences and love to all of his family who are still here, he loved you each so much. I’m sure he will be pulling strings for you in heaven.

Grandpa was a pure soul with a heart of gold. Glad to have spent the time with him that I did, and the memories I have of him will be souvenirs for life.

Grandpa was always happy with simple things in life. A good meal, time in his garden, spending time with his family. He loved being in the company of others. He would always tell me on the phone what he ate for breakfast and I thought it was fascinating because Grandpa could recall tiny details about his day, even with old age. He was a man who could live in the present and always wanted to be independent in his activities. He was a man of gentleness, kindness and had appreciation for the small things in life most people look past. He always wanted to be out in his garden, out in the sun, putting in the work to take care of and nurture something. He was a man of generosity, purity, and compassion. I give my condolences and may we not be sad during this time, but joyful that he is in his Heavenly Father’s gentle and loving arms. That he is with the love of his life who has been waiting for him. And grateful for the legacy he left behind. May the Lord be with the family and bring them comfort, peace, healing and also, love for one another during this time.
