Erin & I were thinking of all our memories of your mom, Katie. One of his was her delicious burritos at all the games. Mine, I have so many!! I wished I could find the pics of our trip to Jamaica w/my mom!! Hilarious good time!! I love you guys & pray you find peace & love in all your memories of her!!!
Danny, Kathy and Chacon Family,
Your mother, grandmother was a kind, congenial and beautiful woman whom we met thru our Tia, Jennie Fierro. Tia spoke highly of Katie and was her great, great friend. Katie became our friend as well.
Our son, Nick and DJ played football at Shadow Mountain High School, where we witnessed her passion firsthand while rooting for the Matadors and her grandson!
Our memory of Katie will be one of a good loving mother, grandmother and friend May she rest in peace; she is now in heaven with her heavenly loved ones. Heaven has received another Angel
With sincerest condolences,
Dave and Bea Amari
I went to Phoenix Union High School with Katie, graduating in 1957 (I believe she graduated in 1956) & remembered
her as a cute cheerleader for the Coyotes I loved her even though we never got around to “hanging out ” much. I was shocked to see her in the The Arizona Republic s obituaries! My condolences to David & all the family. My prayers & thoughts are with all of you.
Danny and Family, We are sorry for your loss. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

To the entire Chacon Family, our deepest condolences to you all on the passing of your devoted Wife, Mother. and Grandmother. It must be a very difficult time for you all right now. But, I believe Mrs. Chacon is in a wonderful place. She will be missed by you all, but please try to find peace in knowing she has affected you, and many others in such a positive way. She was a matriarch of a wonderful family.
My Mother and I recently laughed out loud as we recalled fond memories of Mrs. Chacon yelling at referees at all of my games, and my brothers games at St. Matthew’s Elementary School. She was quite a “pistol”. May God bless her, and all of you during this very difficult time. Kathy, we are all here for you Sister if you need anything.
