CHIROS, MARYANN

December 4, 2017 3 Condolences

MaryAnn Chiros

Chiros, MaryAnn passed away on November 30, 2017 at the age of 90. She was born in Muskegon Michigan and moved to Arizona in 1970 from Illinois. MaryAnn is preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 52 years Jimmy Chiros. They loved to travel together and especially enjoyed their many trips to Hawaii. MaryAnn worked for many years in the accounting department at Dillard’s department stores. She loved all animals but was most fond of her dogs. MaryAnn was a loving mother to her daughter Catherine “Quentin” Keyser; Yiayia to 3 grandchildren, Nicholas, Elizabeth and David Keyser and beloved sister to Catherine Skoubes; She is also predeceased by her brother Alex Skoubes. Visitation for MaryAnn will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM with a Trisagion Service at 7:00PM at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix AZ. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 10:AM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1973 E. Maryland Phoenix, AZ. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery. Family suggests contributions to the Arizona Animal Welfare League, 25 N. 40th Street, Phoenix, AZ. 85034. MaryAnn kept her sense of humor right to the very end and she will be dearly missed.

    I’ve never know such a loving and devoted wife and mother as Maryann. Although quite and soft spoken she shared caring and thoughtful anecdotes to keep life on track with what is most important and meaningful. And, she was just this way up until and through her last few days on earth. I know that Maryanne is most happy right now, riding the clouds with her honey-husband, Jimmy. Keep the anecdotes coming, Maryanne…we’re listening…especially Cathy, Quent, Nicholas, Lizzy, David, …and the pups! God’s Blessing to you and your family…
