Christina Marie Fetchick passed away very unexpectedly February 12, 2008. Born in Huntington, Long Island, NY on November 30th 1957. Moved to Vero Beach, FL with her family at the age of 5 years old. She attended St. Helen’s Elementary School, Vero Beach, FL and graduated from Vero Beach High School in 1975. Graduated University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL, Christina was employed as an intellectual property paralegal for six years at Allen, Dyer, Doppelt, Franjola & Milbrath, P.A., Orlando, FL, a nationally known and highly respected intellectual property firm. She moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1994 opening a successful retail specialty business. Using her paralegal skills, she became a well respected Risk Management Investigator for ComCare Inc., and followed that with five more years of operating her own business in the risk management investigation area specializing in the mental health cases. When the internet became of age, she helped found one of the first internet based legal application service providers in the country. In 2001 she married Dr. George Foose, often telling her many friends that she waited 40 years for “the one”. Her passion was helping less fortunate people and animals. During her life in Arizona, she adopted many abandoned or abused pets including Abby, Ashley, Nishka, and Jana, joining Chloe. They were all her children. Preceded in death by father Richard J. Minicozzi; maternal grandparents Joseph V. and Marie Grace Profeta; maternal Aunt Catherine Bergsten; maternal Uncle Ralph A. Profeta, Sr. Survived by husband Dr. George Foose, Mesa, AZ; mother Marie Grace Fetchick, Vero Beach, FL; brother Dr. Richard J. Dr. Dianne Fetchick, nephew Richard J. Fetchick, Jr., niece Anna Fetchick all of San Antonio, TX, cousins Judy John Higgins of Vero Beach, FL; Dr. Raymond E. Bergsten Valerie of Weeki Wachee, FL; cousin Jacqueline Jim Cole of Vero Beach, FL and many, many dear friends and her beloved four-legged family members. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M., with Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 21st, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix.
