Passed away peacefully on July 7, 2010 just shy of his 84th birthday in Phoenix, AZ. Robert was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and terrific friend. He was a strong man of great character and
ethics. He was caring, loving and generous to all. Robert was married to his wife Carol of 62 years whom he met when they were in college. He went on to earn his CPA then later his degree in law. Robert developed and grew a successful practice over the years and was identified as one of the top 100 Corporate Tax Attorneys in America. He was known for his excellent skills, hard work and honesty. Robert was a great adventurer and traveler. He and his wife traveled to all nine continents and made many trips throughout the United States. They spent much of their time visiting or being with their many friends. They enjoyed and shared their lives whenever possible. He enjoyed swimming, hiking, and tennis and was an avid Phoenix Suns fan. He is survived by his loving wife, his children Maureen, Kevin, Shawna, Patrick and Peggy, his twenty grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who he so enjoyed during the holidays, birthdays and special events. He is now in heaven with his sons Terry and Daniel who preceded him some years ago. A special thanks is extended to all those who loved and cared for Robert when he lived at Moon Valley Assisted Living. A Memorial Mass led by Father Michael will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Paul Catholic Church located at 330 West Coral Gables, Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his name to St. Mary’s Food Bank, 2831 N. 31st Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85009

Please accept my condolences. Psalm 146:9 states “…The fatherless boy and widow he relieves.” I look forward to the day when death will be no more and we will no longer have to experience the pain and suffering it brings. Until that time, I encourage you to put hope in the thought at John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13,14. All of these provide us with the hope of being reunited with our loved ones by means of the resurrection. This brings me comfort and hope. I have faith in all of those scriptures because Titus 1:2 tells us that God can not lie. It is my hope that you are strengthened by these thoughts. May you read them from your own copy of the bible.
