Margaret was born in Eveleth, Minnesota on January 12, 1925 of parents Natalie and Louise Simonetta. Her life was driven by faith, family, music, and friends. From a young age Margaret was dedicated to music and music education. After graduating from The University of Michigan, Margaret taught music until 1954 when she moved to Arizona. In 1954, she was married to Frank Cook and the two had a daughter Natalie and son Kevin. She dedicated herself to church music and the Catholic Church. Margaret was an active member of Sigma Alpha Iota, and worked extensively with the St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, The Diocese of Tucson, and St. Daniel’s Catholic Church. Over the years she traveled, enjoyed many friendships, overcame hardships, was the arm-chair quarterback for thousands of sporting events, and loved to laugh. In her final year she moved in with her family, enjoying her great grandchildren and taking time to slow down.

Margaret is survived by her daughter Natalie (Bill) Truett, son Kevin (Marty) Cook, grandson Jeremy (Greta) Truett, granddaughter Laura (Brandon) Wright, great grandchildren Ellie, Paisley and Brody Wright, Owen Truett, and family Landis Cook, Joann Ohmann and Judy Maki.
