Linda, I have so many fun memories with your Mom and You. I remember setting up a tent in your backyard for a camp out and when your Mom took us to the drive-in! I remember going to slide rock with your Mom and Ernie! We always had fun! I spent so much time at your house it felt like home! Your one of the most important relationships in my life! Your love and support meant so much to me during some tough times! I know you’ll always miss your Mom alot but you have all your memories and she’ll always be with her in your heart. Please call me, Love, Patty

It Seems unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you dearly love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk, laugh, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. There is great comfort in knowing about the beautiful hope that God has promised to mankind at Psalms 37:9,10,11,29. When that promise is fulfilled Isaiah 25:8; says God will swallow up death forever and wipe the tears from all faces. The scriptures also indicate, it is possible to be reunited with our dead loved ones again. John 5:28,29. To believe in such a promise we would need to be certain that the one promising this most beautiful and comforting hope is able to fulfill it. Isaiah 55:11. Until that day comes the Bible encourages us at Romans12:15; Rejoice with people who rejoice, and weep with people who weep.

I would like to express my condolence at this time to your family. The Bible is a great source of encouragement at times like this, a comforting thought is at Revelation 21:3,4 where it states “…And he will wipe out every year from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning not outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” This scripture gives us hope for the future! For more information please visit our website at jw.org
