Marc Nobuo Cuizon, 44 of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center. He was born on February 26, 1974 in Lihu’e, Kaua’i. After a hard-fought battle with metastatic cancer, Marc was surrounded with aloha and music of family and friends who lovingly gathered by his side. His final moments were as peaceful as the fondest of farewell and filled with grace, humility and dignity.
Upon graduating from Waimea High School, Class of 1992 Marc studied at Devry University in Phoenix after which Arizona would become his home for 26 years. He was employed in radio communications with AAA Arizona for most of his career, a position he treasured. More recently and at the time of his passing, Marc was employed with the power company, Arizona Public Utilities, a job he was most grateful for working with the best boss anyone could possibly have.
In the Grand Canyon State of Arizona, Marc found a vibrant amateur radio community that he would grow to enjoy and love. New and lasting friendships were made over the years with people of common interests and goals, one of which was the Incident Command Page (ICP). With others Marc became an integral part of a multitude of volunteering opportunities for community events providing and manning radio and communication support. He found great joy and satisfaction in the giving of his time and efforts to make a safer and more wholesome community in which to live in. Marc lived his life to work hard diligently and to faithfully serve others.
