Beloved sister and aunt, Lillian “Lynn” Danda, 81, died at home in Phoenix on Jan 9

. She was born in East Chicago, Indiana Sept. 13, 1931 and later moved to Phoenix with her family. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1950 and moved to San Francisco after attending Lamson Business College.  Later she returned to Phoenix to continue her banking career with Valley National Bank.  Upon her retirement in 1996, she joined a select group of VNBers with 30 years of service. Family was very important to her.  She doted on her nieces and nephews; loved animals, and was an outstanding cook. She will be missed by her sisters: Genevieve Cipolla, Judith (Ross) Roberts and Sandra (George) Treadwell; 10 nieces and nephews, 19 great nieces and nephews and a great, great niece and nephew.  She was predeceased by her parents Josephine and Joseph Danda; and her nephew USMC Captain Theodore S. Treadwell. Visitation will be held from 9-9:30am, Rosary at 9:30am and a Memorial Mass at 10am, Saturday, January 26, 2013 at St. Mary’s Basilica, 231 N. 3
