93, was born December 18, 1920 in Glendale, Arizona, daughter to Pomposo and Ventura Jimenez passed away September 15, 2014. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, son Gregory, and grandson Anthony (Gordo) Watson, and four brothers and four sisters.  She is survived by her two sisters Angelina Alvarez and Mary Estrada, and her children Julian De La Cruz (Tessie), Ana Davalos, Vickie Rodriguez (Joe) Emily Fisher (Pat), Frank De La Cruz (Debra).  Also 18 grandchildren, 17 great and 14 great, great-grandchildren. 

Carmen was a loving and caring Mother and Nana.  She was always there for family and friends.  She was a devout Catholic who so loved the Lord and Blessed Mother.  She will be missed, especially for her delicious meals and great homemade tortillas.

Visitation will be at 9:30am with a Rosary at 10:30am and Funeral Mass at 11:00am on Monday, September 22, 2014 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1954 North 24th Street, Phoenix.  Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.  

Rest in peace Mom and Nana.  We Love You, and you will always be in our hearts and prayers.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to, St. Agnes Church.

    MY NINA, WAS TRULY A ‘ VIRTUOUS WOMAN ‘. NOT ONCE DID I EVER HEARD HER RAISE HER VOICE. AND YES, QUICKEST TORTILLA ROLLER I WILL EVER KNOW , THE LIL ROLLING PIN ,I CAN STILL VISUALIZE IN MY MIND . MY LOVING NINA CARMEN , YOU ARE SO LOVED AND YOUR PRESENCE IS MISSED.
