I shared a table at Bible class with Cora and she was a very special lady. She always had a smile and kind words. She helped with potlucks and picnics whenever she could. She will be missed but I’m thankful to know she’s at peace in Heaven with Christ.

Condolence from Marcia Newby on May 1st, 2016 9:18 pm

Dear Terry, Nick, Wendy and Deborah,

I was so sorry to hear of the death of your wonderful Mom when Terry told me when I called your Mom’s house to check on her. It has been such a joy to be a friend of your Mom over the last 7 years and I have many fun memories from the different family events that Cora had invited me to. I happened to meet Cora Easter morning service at Atonement Lutheran Church years ago and saw & visited with her the last time this past Easter morning while Wendy was there too.

I hope that each of you hold close all of the memories that you have of you and your Mom. It is with those memories that Cora will be kept alive in our hearts and minds. Thank you for helping me to feel special at all of your family parties that I attended. They were lots of fun and I will always remember them.

May the Lord bless you and keep you safe in the knowledge that your Mom is happy and healthy again with Him in heaven. I miss your Mom very much and will always remember her.

Your friend,

Marcia Newby
