Ronnie, as he was known by many entered eternal life with his loving family by his side in Avondale, AZ where he resided. He was born in central Phoenix by Paul and Lydia (Chata).
Ronnie attended Phoenix schools and graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1965. He loved to play, watch, and coach many sports. He was an avid Sun Devil fan and was a football season ticket holder for nearly 47 years. Ronnie was an ARMY Vietnam War Veteran and served with the 173rd Airborne Brigade. He served and retired from the ARMY reserves after 35 years of service. His profession was with the United States Postal Service where he was a mail carrier and later a supervisor until his retirement.
Ronnie was known as a tough, but also kindhearted loving man. He would be there for anyone if they needed him. He enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends at the beach in San Diego, at parties, and passing time at the casino. He will be deeply missed but will forever live in our hearts.
Surviving Ronnie is his wife, Julie Delgado; son, Morris Delgado, Jr.; daughter in law, Rosie Delgado; son, Mark Delgado; daughter in law Rene Delgado; grandchildren, Amanda, Tiffany, Britni, Evita, Mark Jr.; great grandchildren, Lily, and Levi; and siblings Deborah Holling, Randy Delgado, Paul Delgado, and Jerry Rivera.
On Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM will be a visitation, rosary prayers will be said at 9:30 AM with a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Basilica, 231 N. 3rd Street, Phoenix. Burial will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.

Condolences to the Delgado family. Many memories of growing up in the Maryvale area and especially thru Cartwright Little League. I remember the passion Mr.Delgado showed in his coaching of the teams morris jr.would be on.
