Maria Phyllis Desmith

Maria Phyllis DeSmith, 93, of Tempe passed away at home on February 12, 2022 due to heart complications. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Snyder and four sons Michael, Paul, John and Marc along with her brother Paul Joseph Phillips. Maria was a loving grandmother to 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren (including 1 deceased) and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She will be joining her beloved husband Arthur and son Arthur Jr. in Heaven along with many other loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 3:00PM to 6:00PM with a Rosary held at 5:00PM at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 10:30AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix, followed by Interment at St. Francis Cemetery.
