Marylore Dolan

passed away quietly on September 9, 2011. She was born in Oak Park, Illinois on April 3, 1927 to Laurence and Marjorie Maddock. She received her degree in English Literature from Rosary College in Illinois. She was Book Review Editor and Teen columnist for Extension magazine in Chicago. Also editorial assistant for Engineering News Digest until she married Jack and came to Phoenix. He preceded her in death in April 2009. Marylore is survived by her beloved family John (Kathy); Daniel (dear friend Tish); Michael (Nancy); Laurance, Christopher (Candace) and Victoria (Robert); grandchildren Michael Matthew, Alexandra, Rogan, Emily, Kattie, Jack and Heather. Also her siblings Margaret Schorsch, Father Laurence Maddock and John Ford, all of Chicago. Funeral Service will be held at the Franciscan Renewal Center, 5802 E. Lincoln Drive, Scottsdale, AZ 85253, (480)948-7460 at 11:30am, Friday, September 16, 2011. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Hospice of the Valley or the Phoenix Public Library.
