Dorothy Freethy Clark passed away peacefully June 13, 2007. She will be missed terribly by her children, grandchildren and her many dear friends. Dorothy lived all of her 82 years in Phoenix. Her mother, Ruth Freethy, owned the first dance studio in Phoenix and Dorothy was a beautiful dancer and dance teacher. She married her high school sweetheart from North Phoenix High School, Larry Clark, who passed away January 2006. They were married for 61 years. Besides dancing, Dorothy loved to play golf and she was very involved in ladies golf at Arizona Country Club. She and Larry traveled the world with friends and played golf everywhere they went. Their favorite destination was Scotland and they were lucky enough to go there numerous times. For years, she and her friends scored for the Phoenix Open. She always had dogs, but she truly loved her last dog Bandit. Dorothy enjoyed gardening and she especially loved roses. She loved her candy-apple red Lincoln Mark VIII with it
