Condolence from Kelley Perry on April 7th, 2010 4:58 pm

Uncle Tony was always so kind and loving to me. I will never forget our girls trip to Mexico when he acted as driver, escort, and chaperone to all his neices. What a brave man to keep us girls in check. He was genuine in his love for his family and will be missed.

Anitra – I know you love poetry so this is for you…..

Gone Away
© Diana Blokzyl

An Angel whispered
take my hand and
come with me
you’re work here is done.

I went away to a place
where there’s no tears, nor sorrow
only laughter and smiles,
there will always be a Tomorrow.

As I move amongst the clouds.
I’ll look down and smile upon you,
while the angels
sing a heavenly song.

I am not alone
all who went before
are here
they awaited my return.

I know you’ll grieve
and wish I was still here
I am here in the memories
you hold dear.

Remember how much I
love you
and know I took your
love with me.

I did not wish for
you to cry, nor feel sad.
My pain is gone and
I am Free!

Soon you’ll come to me
until then
God will be with you
Just as He’s with me.

even in our sleep, pain which cannot forget
falls drop by drop upon the heart
until in our despair, against our will,
comes wisdom through
the awful grace of God.

take care, see you soon.

Condolence from Wendy Andrew on November 1st, 2011 8:40 pm

Dear Tony & Anitra,

You may not remember me, but I’m one of the Scottish girls who worked with your dad in Cape Cod in 1995. I know I’m a little late in discovering your sad news but i was just telling one of my colleagues what a character your dad was and wondered how you all were. I have fond memories of all 3 of you from that summer. Tony was a lovely man and really looked out for us when we were in America and i have never forgotten his kindness and humour. I’m so sorry for your loss,

Wendy xx
