Joyce Endres, 84, stepped out of time and into eternity to be with Jesus Christ her Savior on March 12, 2012. She was born on January 10, 1928 in Lexington, KY to Bill Adams and Dorcie Reeves Adams Horner. She married George Endres in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1953 just prior to her daughter being born. Joyce took great pride in being a homemaker, a coaches wife, entertaining, and serving her Lord. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. Joyce is survived by her son, George Endres, Jr., daughter, Jane Adamson (fiancé Mark Haugen), grandsons, Ryan and Keith Adamson (Krysti and great-granddaughter Brielle), and sister Linda Schmidt (Terry). Visitation will be from 3-8pm, Monday, March 19, 2012 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, Arizona, 85018. Interment will be at 12 noon, Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix. The Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, March 20, at 2pm at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3641 N. 56th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85018. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. “Joyce was one incredibly brave, loving, giving, fun, inspirational, and awesome Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma.
